Neoma Beatrice Floyd Smith was a housewife, mother, grandmother and so much more. She was born April 16, 1937 in Wichita, Kansas to Benjamin and Mertal Floyd and passed from this life January 11, 2022 in Dustin, Oklahoma at the age of 84. She was preceded in death by her husband, Golden Arlie Smith, her parents Benjamin and Mertal Floyd, sisters Eva Coleman and Pearl Merriman, brothers J.B. Floyd and Ronald Lee Floyd, and a granddaughter Krista Flory.

She married the love of her life on December 2, 1954 in Wichita, Kansas and they celebrated fifty years of marriage. They lived in Dustin for many years.

Survivors include her children, Richard Smith and wife Karla of Derby, Kansas, Arline Smith of Dustin, Ronda Flanagan of Dustin, Arlie Smith and wife Becky of Wichita, Kansas, Belinda Strickland and husband Bobby of Dustin, Larry Smith and wife Sheila of Rock, Kansas, and Patricia Summers of Henryetta; 21 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters Dorothy Herron of Miami, Ok, Alice Fae Kissick of Hayesville, KS; sisters-in-law, Liz Looper of Carson and Maudene Johnson of Eufaula; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

The family says, “We were truly blessed by having her in our lives. Thank you, Lord we pray in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.”

Visitation was held at Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home on Friday, January 14 from 5- 8pm. Funeral services were held at Dustin First Baptist Church on Saturday, January 15 at 2pm. Interment followed at Hanna Cemetery under the direction of Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Golden Richard Smith, Brandon Smith, Jake Smith, Nathan Palmer, Johnny Kocsis, and Brian Smith. Honorary Pallbearers were Jeremiah Fisher and Jim Bob Fisher. Rev. Mark Smith officiated.
