Our Sympathies extended to the families of... Jeanette LaVern Hale Semore

Jeanette LaVern Hale Semore was born on May 11, 1942, to John Wesley and Myrtle Hale in Sterling, OK. She passed on February 4, 2021, in Shawnee, OK at the age of 78.

Jeanette is survived by her spouse of 51 years, Marion “Stretch” Semore, as well as her children Richard Robinson, his wife Cara, her son Eddie Robinson, his wife Kim, daughter Kimberly Belles, her husband Andy. She had eleven grandchildren who were the pride of her life: Brittany, Tanner, his wife Jordan, Brooke, Paris, Tyler, his wife Alexa, Cody, his wife Ashley, Monica, her husband Gerald, Paige, Liddon, Chloe and Drew.

She had fourteen great-grandchildren: Harper, Henley, Harlow, Piper, Parker, Ace, Daxton, Preslee, Knox, Kashlyn, Gentry, Karsyn, Layni, Jovi, and two more on the way this year.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, her sister “Sis” and brothers: John, Don, Raymond, Cletus, JD, LeRoy and Benny whom she loved very much.

Jeanette faithfully attended Gleaners Holiness Church in Wewoka, OK. She was a hard worker who loved people and carried a bright light everywhere she went. She never met a stranger. She LOVED and it showed. Her legacy of love has touched the heart of everyone of that knew her. Jeanette was very proud of her family. She showed up for each of them always. Her family all thinks they were her favorite, but the truth is she was the favorite.

A funeral service was held Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, OK. With Pastor Larry Chesser officiating. Pastors Tony and Marla Chesser assisted. She was laid to rest at the Little Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
