Our sympathies extended to the families of Pauline Paschal Laneer

Pauline Paschal Laneer died on February 9, 2022, at age 103. She was born on January 18, 1919, in Wetumka, OK, to Lucille Lowder Pasachal and Claud Paschal. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loy Laneer, on January 13, 1993. Pauline is survived by her son, Larry Laneer, and a nephew and cousins. She lived most of her life in Wetumka until she moved to Norman, OK, on June 25, 2005.

Pauline was reared in the First Christian Church, in Wetumka, and in 1958, she, Loy and Larry joined the First Methodist Church. She was an active member until she moved to Norman.

She graduated from Wetumka High School in 1937 and attended Wetumka Junior College. In her earlier years, Pauline worked at the Bank of Commerce and Southwestern States Telephone Company.

Pauline was known for doing good for other people. She was always ready to take other to the doctor, grocery store, church, or hospital, and even sit with them.

At Rivermont in Norman, she was selected Valentine Queen in February, 2007, and Person of the Month in March, 2007.
