Our Sympathy Extended to the Family of Bradley Kyle Harrison

Bradley Kyle Harrison passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023, in Ft Gibson, Oklahoma at the age of 27.

Brad was born November 7, 1995 in Durant, Oklahoma to Tommie Goodner of Talala, Oklahoma and Thelma (McGinty) Vandeveer. Brad graduated from Calvin High School. He served our Country in the U.S. Army. Brad was a truck driver for Leonard Allen Trucking. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and 4-wheelers. Brad had big heart and had many friends. He loved his children, spending time with them and visiting with his Army buddies. Brad will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Brad is preceded in death by his brother Matthew Harrison, sister Mary Chimeo, grandparents Thomas McGinty and Mickey McGinty.

He is survived by his mother Thelma Vandeveer and husband James of Calvin; father Tommie Goodner of Talala; children Zayne Harrison of Mississippi, Austin Harrison of Mississippi, and River Harrison of Mississippi; siblings Kerri Waller and husband Robert of Atoka, Tommie Goodner Jr. of Talala, Amy Chimeo and husband Aniceto of Champaign, Illinois and Tammy Wesley of Nukaya, Oklahoma. Brad is survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside service was 1:00 pm Monday, September 25th, at Bentley Cemetery in Atoka with Pastor Darrell Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Bentley Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jacob Waller, Matthew Waller, Robert Waller, Anthony Withrow, Tommie Goodner Jr., and Jerrel “Spook” Morris.

Services were under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
