Patsy Ruth Davis

Patsy Ruth Davis, age 90, of Wewoka, Oklahoma departed this life Sunday, October 24, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born May 15, 1931 in Wewoka to the late Charlie Degge and Opal (Salmans) Degge. She married Norvel Davis on January 13, 1949 in Wewoka, and to this marriage five children were born.

Patsy loved garage sales, going to auctions, cooking and spending time with her family. She worked at A&B Drive-In, Dee Dee Drive-In, Barry Waffle House, and Johnson Dairy Cup as a cook over her life time. She was of the Baptist faith.

Patsy is proceeded in death by her parents; husband Norvel Davis; son Jimmy Davis and wife Vicki; siblings Joyce Boyd and husband Jess, Cecil Degge and wife Alveina, and Billy Degge and wife Betty; brother-in-law Bill Sallee; and great-grandson Sabo West.

She is survived by son Ronnie Davis, daughter Kay Taylor and husband Jerry, son Ricky Davis, and son Terry Davis, all of Wewoka; grandchildren Tommy Taylor and wife Shonna of Holdenville, Gayla Foster and husband Shelton of Holdenville, Michael Davis and wife Dana of Wewoka, and Scotty Davis and wife Brandy of Holdenville; great-grandchildren Shon Taylor of Holdenville, Ryan Chaney and wife Sydney of Wewoka, Macie Davis and husband Ty of Holdenville, Dawson Taylor of Holdenville, Randee Taylor of Holdenville, Brady Davis of Wewoka, Ashlyn Chaney of Holdenville, Natalie Davis of Wewoka, Levi Foster of Holdenville, Brody Foster of Holdenville, Delanie Manning of Wewoka, Choty West of Holdenville, and Randy West of Holdenville; one great-great-granddaughter Blair Chaney of Wewoka, and one great great granddaughter on the way; siblings Faye Sallee, and Vickie Carter.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 pm Friday, October 29 ^th , at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, with Rev. Dewayne Davis officiating.

Pallbearers were Michael Davis, Scotty Davis, Shon Taylor, Ryan Chaney, Dawson Taylor, and Brady Davis. Honorary bearers were Tommy Taylor, Macie Davis, Randee Taylor, Ashlyn Chaney, Natalie Davis, Levi Foster, Brody Foster, Jerry Taylor, and Shelton Foster.

Arrangements were by Stout Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka, OK.
