Robert Hurst passes away

Robert (Bob) William Hurst passed away on September 15, 2019 at the age of 76. He was born on May 14, 1943 in Drumright, Oklahoma to Ed and Cleo Hurst. Robert married his high school sweetheart, Donna Wilson on December 21, 1963.

Robert is survived by his wife, Donna Hurst; children, Sarah Hurst and Rebecca (Hurst) Eisemann and husband Chris; grandchild, Taylan; and sibling, Caroyl (Hurst) Hockett-Bills. He is remembered in love by his special daughter, Toni (Perez) Pace, her husband Rex, and their children, Katie and Mason.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Cleo and Ed Hurst, and sister, Pat (Hurst) Armstrong.

Robert graduated college from East Central University and received a Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Oklahoma. Bob and Donna owned and operated Consumer Discount Pharmacy for 23 years.

Robert left this earth knowing he had crossed everything off his bucket list. His many hobbies included woodworking, stained glass, sailing, wind surfi ng, archery, and building and fl ying remote control air planes and helicopters. He also flew a Cessna 150 and bicycled over 48,000 miles, from Texas to Kansas 12 times. His stained glass and woodwork were much admired not only by his friends and family, but also by all who frequented his pharmacy where his pieces were displayed. Robert lived a full and happy life.
