Ronald Gene Sanford

Ronald Gene Sanford, Seminole resident, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at his home, at the age of 67. Ronald was born on August 24, 1955 in Coal - gate, OK to Travis Gene San - ford and Mary Ann (Zackary) Hendricks. He grew up in Holdenville and spent most of his life in Seminole. Ronald married Deborah Kay Lampson on January 23, 1975 in Tulsa, OK. Ronald was a kind and loving family man. He loved his children and adored his grandchil - dren and great grandchil - dren. He was always there to lend an ear and provide arms that would hold. Ron - ald had a heart of gold. He would always have answers to your questions. There was nothing he couldn't do. Ronald enjoyed his CB radio, fishing and raising chickens. He taught prac - tical life lessons like how to count when grandchildren fed the chickens and the val - ue of contentment before the value of money.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 48 years, Deb - orah Sanford; his moth - er, Mary Ann (Zackary) Hen - dricks; stepfather, Marvin Hendricks; three daughters, Kimburley Welch and hus - band, Doug of Seminole, Linda Sanford of Choctaw and Jennifer Madron of Sem - inole; sister, Rhonda Sanford of Tulsa; eight grandchildren, Kaylin Welch, Gene Welch, Braylee Signorelli, Alex Borba, Andrew Borba, Levi Johns, James Donald Ma - dron III and Mekenzley Ma - dron; three great-grandchil - dren, Troy Gene Ford, Cody Welch and Waylon Signorel - li; and many other family and friends. Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Tra - vis Sanford; brothers, Ricky Sanford and Randall San - ford; uncles, James, Orval, Lloyd, Harmon, Bill and Ken - neth.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
