Scott Allen Babb, 57, entered the Gates of Heaven on May 5, 2022, in Holdenville, Oklahoma. He was born in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Don and Dian Babb. Scott attended and graduated from school in Wewoka. Scott met and fell in love with Lori (Leewright) Babb and married in Wewoka in August of 1986 and had one child, Chris.

After high school, Scott held various positions with Cochran Chemical, Wrangler, Precision, and Exxon Mobil. Scott also attended truck driving school where he earned his CDL to become a truck driver. Scott was well known and respected amongst colleagues and friends. In his free time, Scott enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting, fi shing, and playing golf. He always shared a good laugh with his grandkids, Brodie and Lexie, when they tickled his feet.

Scott is preceded in death by his father, Don Babb; grandmother Zula (Scooter) Babb; uncles Ray Babb, and Tommy Babb; aunt Kathy Martinez; and furbaby Rowdy.

Those left to cherish Scott’s memory are wife Lori Babb of the home; one child Chris Babb and wife Melissa of Broken Arrow; his mother Dian Babb of Wewoka; three brothers Kelly Babb and wife Abby of Stuart, Shannon Babb and wife Christy of Little, and Stephen Babb and wife Robin of Bethel Acres; grandkids Brodie and Lexie Babb; mother-in-law Delores Melton and husband Leon; brother-in-law Brad Vandeveer and wife Myra; special buddy Liz Campbell; and fur babies Mia and Cowboy; along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Viewing will be 12:00 PM-7:00 PM Tuesday, May 10 th , and 9:00 AM-7:00 PM Wednesday, May 11 th , at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville.

A celebration of life is planned for Saturday, May 14, at 10:30 at First Baptist Church in Holdenville.

Honorary pallbearers are Brad Vandeveer, Dylan Yeager, Rath Pryor, Adam Mudd, Tommy Hensley, and Gary Calvert.

Services are under the direction of Hudson Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, OK.
