Service Friday for Brunson Lee Harjo

Brunson Lee Harjo passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021 in Seminole, Oklahoma at the age of 20.

Brunson was born January 5, 2001 in Ada, Oklahoma to Herman Harjo and Lori Brunson. He graduated f r o m Holdenville High School in the Class of 2019. Brunson was raised in Holdenville all his life. He loved playing basketball, baseball and shooting guns. He worked for Edko Company in Shawnee.

Brunson is preceded in death by his sister Sheena Kay Harjo; maternal grandparents Frank and Lois Brunson; paternal grandmother Augustine Harjo; and uncles Harold Harjo, Joe McCloud and Frankie Brunson.

He is survived by his father Herman Harjo of Holdenville; mother Lori Brunson of Seminole; siblings Shane Brunson of Seminole, Natosha Murdock of Seminole, Adrian Harjo of Wetumka, and Dana Harjo of Holdenville; nephews and nieces Aiden Harjo, Aniyah Harjo, Jace Harjo, Amarran Stephens, Isaiah Buck, Lori Newbold, Michael Newbold, Jett Brunson, Blayke Brunson, Asher Brunson, Natalynn Harjo, and Easton Sam; paternal uncles Harry Harjo and Chris Powell; aunts Bessie Field, Lenora Deere, Pamela Harjo, and Bobbie Jean Doyle; maternal uncles Ronnie T u c k e r and Bubba McCloud; and paternal grandfather Leonard Harjo of Okemah.

Viewing will be at his residence, 621 Ramsey St, Holdenville, until Thursday, July 29 th , at 4:00 PM and at that time Brunson will be taken to Middle Creek #2 Baptist Church for the 7:00 p.m. wake service. Funeral service will be

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday, July 30 th , at Middle Creek #2 Baptist Church, Holdenville, Oklahoma with Pastor George Harjoche officiating. Interment will follow at the Harjo Family Cemetery, Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers are Shane Brunson, Adrian Harjo, Trenton Hartley, Paul Herra, Joseph Billie and Amarion Stephens. Honorary pallbearers are Wecate Lowe, Isaiah Buck and Micheal Newbold.
