Service Friday for Raymond L. “PeeWee” Curtis

Services for Raymond L. Curtis will be held Friday, January 24, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Wetumka with Pastor Brad Burton officiating.

Raymond Lowell Curtis was born August 2, 1943 in Merced, California to Gus and Ruby (Kennedy) Curtis. He passed away Saturday, January 18, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 76.

Mr. Curtis was a longtime resident of the Wetumka area. He and Ann Lee Heath were married March 17, 1964 and she later preceded him in death in 2015. Mr. Curtis worked most of his life as a pipeliner. He worked on the Alaskan Pipeline, was a part owner of Okemah Construction and later retired from the Jo Max Construction Company. When younger he enjoyed quail and pheasant hunting and more recently loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching football. He also attended the Living Water Church of Wetumka.

Also preceding him in death were his parents; three sisters, Shirley Ward,

Gusteen Norman and Mary Cox and one brother, Billy Curtis.

Survivors include his two sons, John Curtis and wife Cari of Wetumka and Perry Curtis and wife Elizabeth “Betsy” of Wetumka; two brothers, Bob and Jim Riley; two sisters, Joyce Anderson and Toni Gaches; four grandchildren, Jordan Curtis, Carli Curtis, Logan Curtis and Catelyn Curtis and one

great-grandchild, Rhyder Curtis.

Serving as active honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Osborn, Charles Allred, Randy Bray and Bill Harris.

Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Wetumka, Oklahoma.
