Service held for Arthur Bruner III

Arthur Bruner III passed away Friday, January 10, 2020, at St Francis Heart Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 54.

Arthur was born March 6, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois to Arthur J Bruner Jr. and Janell Davis Bruner. Arthur graduated from Sequoyah school.  He was a laborer for a granite company.  He enjoyed playing sports, talking on the phone, visiting and spending time with family.

Arthur is survived by his parents; children Kenan Swimmer of Broken Arrow Konan Swimmer

of Broken Arrow, Tashina Swimmer of Broken Arrow, Aaron “Mecko” Barr of Tulsa, Tristan Bruner of Sand Springs, and Dillon Bruner of Sand Springs; sisters Suzanne VanOrsdol of Tulsa, and Francine Ivey and husband Lance of Ft Worth, Texas; three nieces; one nephew; uncle Harry Bruner of Seminole; and aunt Janett Davis of Tulsa.  He is survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

A wake service was held Monday, January 13th, at Many Springs Baptist Church for evening service.

Funeral service was 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 14th , at Many Springs Baptist Church in Holdenville with Pastor Jimmy Anderson officiating and Paul Fixco and Mark Smith assisting.

Pallbearers were Otis Buck, Micco Kalinich, Paul Faxon, Tim VanOrsdol, John Anderson, and Leon Bruner Jr.  Honorary pallbearers were Andy Anderson, Harry Bruner, Jeff Anderson, BJ Faxon, Billy Anderson, Billy Smith,  Marty Kalinich, and Tommy Kalinich.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home Holdenville, Oklahoma.
