Service held for Billy Hickerson

Billy Gene Hickerson passed away Wednesday October 24, 2018 in El Reno, Oklahoma at the age of 85.

Billy was born March 6, 1933 in Stuart, Oklahoma to Thomas Edgar “Ted” Hickerson and Jewell Hull Hickerson. He graduated Stuart High School and then served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Billy was a truck driver for Triangle Express for many years and enjoyed raising horses and border collie’s.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bobbie Hickerson, Dale Hickerson, Charles Hickerson and Clifton Hickerson; and one sister, Bettye Hill.

Billy is survived by his daughter, Audre Knott and husband Sam of Calumet, Oklahoma; daughter, Diana Robinson; son Tom Gibson; twin sister, Willa Henry and husband Sonny Henry of Casa R Grande, Arizona; sister, Lotrevious Carl of Arizona; sisters-in-law Dora Lee Kitchen of Stuart, and Darlene Hickerson of McAlester; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and one on the way; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside service were 2:00 PM, Wednesday October 31st , at Bohannon Cemetery, Stuart, with Pastor Bart Patterson officiating.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
