Service held for Carolyn Sue Knoles

Carolyn Sue Knoles passed away in Midwest City, Oklahoma on Saturday evening, August 31, 2019, at the age of 71 years.

Sue was the daughter of James Willie Pickett and Velta (Ladd) Pickett, born on October 22, 1947 in Calvin, Oklahoma. She was brought up and attended schools in Calvin and Holdenville. She was married to William ‘Bill’ White, and they were blessed with three sons: Ron, James, and Eric.  

Sue loved the simple joys of life. Some of her favorite things were garage sales, fishing, riding around looking at scenery, and collecting recipes. What she loved most in the world was her boys and her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Velta Pickett; her husband, Bill White; two sisters, Shirley Ford and Lucille Doyle; and one brother, Monroe Pickett.

She is survived by her three sons, Ron Pickett of Midwest City, James White (Tamara) of Guthrie, and Eric White of Midwest City; one granddaughter, Carlie White of Oklahoma City; one brother, Larry Pickett (Paula) of Holdenville, and one sister, Virginia Jones of Tuttle; nieces and nephews, other family members, and many friends.

Funeral services were Saturday, September 7th , 1:00 p.m., at the Calvin Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Dane Robinson officiating. Pallbearers were John White, Joel Pitts, Jonathan White, Johnny White, Toby Pickett, and Sid Hudson.
