Service held for Clifton Allen Coody

Clifton Allen Coody (Biddy) age 54 went to be with loved ones October 23, 2020 in Wetumka Oklahoma. Clifton was born June 23, 1966 in Talahina, OK to Irene Harjo Coody and Andrew Coody. He lived most of his life in Sasakwa Oklahoma. Clifton worked as a floor hand and did yard work for John L. Lewis for many years also worked for the county. He also did odd jobs for family and friends; he was always willing to help anyone in need.

Clifton loved listening to music while socializing with family and friends, loved spending time with his son, nieces and nephews. Clifton is preceded in death by his parents Irene and Andrew Coody, brothers Jimmy Coody, Franklin Coody Sr., Randy Coody and Herman Coody. Sister Fermina Kilpatrick, great nephew Kaleb Coody, great niece Alexus Neal.

Clifton is survived by his son, Brandon Coody of Konawa; wife, Anita Howell of Konawa; sisters, Franchette Coody and husband Gene Berryhill of Wetumka and Lottie and Tiny Harrell of Wewoka; brother, Andrew Coody Jr. and wife Carolyn Hall; seven stepchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held Sunday October 25, 2020 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home from 1:00 to 5:00. All night wake was held on Monday October 26, at High Spring Church. Funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 27 at 2:00 at the High Springs in Konowa with Pastors Farentino Coody and Ed George officiating. Burial followed at the Fulka-Harjo Cemetery.

Pallbearers included Gene Berryhill, Roman Cosar, Jesse Howard, Darrell Harjo, Huley Harjo, Kris Hall. Honorary bearers were Shevon Berryhill, Danny Howell, Abe Davis Sr., Mitchell Cargill, Andrew Coody Jr., Franklin Coody Jr., Aaron Harjo, Brandon Coody, Nick Coody, Jordan Berryhill, Kameron Berryhill, Marlon Callahan, Jeff Rogers, Alejandro Munos.
