Service held for Dennis Elkins
Warren “Dennis” Elkins passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 64.
Dennis was born July 18, 1955 in Jefferson Indiana to Warren G. Harding Elkins and Hester Nanette Cole Elkins. Dennis graduated from Austin High School, Indiana. He married Robin Lesa Steudeman on August 24, 1990. Dennis was a carpenter by trade and was self-employed. He enjoyed telling jokes, sharing words of wisdom, reading books, and spending time with family. Dennis loved his family more than anything, also enjoyed craft-

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, brother Don Elkins, sister Judy Elkins.
He is survived by his wife Lesa of the home; sons, Cheyne Elkins and Dustin Elkins of Holdenville; three grandchildren, Rowdy Elkins, Tylas Elkins, and Casen McCoy; niece Veronica Lynette Steudeman; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral service was 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 3rd , at the Harvest Time Church in Holden-ville with Pastor Jerry Summy and Jimmy Freeman officiating. Interment will follow at Holdenville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Cheyne Elkins, Dustin Elkins, Pat Brown, Nate Buck, Quent Thionnet and John Dority. Honorary pallbearers were Glenn West, Roger Steudeman and Rodney Steudeman.
Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home Holdenville, Oklahoma.
