Service held for Francis Elaine “Frankie Keeney

Francis Elaine ‘Frankie’ Keeney passed away in Ada, Oklahoma on Saturday, September 19, 2020, at the age of 67 years.

Frankie was the daughter of Darrell and Betty Jean (Menie) Wheat, born on May 28, 1953, in Seminole, Oklahoma. She was brought up and attended schools in Seminole and was employed for many years as a factory worker. She was married to Steve Keeney at Eureka Strings, Arkansas on June 15, 2011, and they made their home in Sasakwa. Frankie worked for the past eleven years at Bar-S in Seminole. Some of her favorite things were swimming and taking care of her dogs, and just being outdoors. She loved decorating their house and around their place outside.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Darrell and Betty Wheat; her sister, Patty Burns, and infant brother.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Keeney; three children: Danny Mize, Ross Mize, and T o n y a Mize, and six grandchildren; two stepchildren, Heath Keeney and Terran Conley, and eight step grandchildren; three sisters: Brenda Johnson, Patsy Hayworth, and Jo Ann Wheat; two brothers, Darren Wheat and Earl Wheat; nieces and nephews, numerous other relatives, and many friends.

Memorial services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at Fisher Funeral Home-Lillye Chapel, with Rev. James Bailey officiating, under direction of Fisher Funeral Home of Holdenville. www.fisherfh.net
