Service held for Joann Priest

Memorial Services for Joann Priest, 86, of Ada were 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 28th , at Morris Memorial Baptist Church, Revs. Michael Calhoun and David Fensler will officiate.

Mrs. Priest passed away Monday, May 20, 2019, at a Stroud hospital. She was born August 28, 1932 at Holdenville to Bill and Nora Tilana Talley Taylor. She attended Holdenville schools.

She married Elzie Priest on August 5, 1950. Mrs. Priest was a homemaker and a longtime member of Morris Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Elzie, of the home; a daughter, Kim Priest of Ada; two sons, Michael Priest and wife Gail of Fitzhugh and Mitchell Priest of Ada; two brothers, Bob Taylor and John Taylor, both of California; two sisters, Nora Crum husband Del of California and Carolyn Graham and husband Max of Idaho; her grandchildren, Justin and Tana Priest of Fitzhugh, Kandyce and Bryan Pogue, Ada, Michael and Stacie Daniel, Ardmore, Kristina and Micah Hogan of Laramie, Wyoming, Kourtney Priest, Fitzhugh, Kayla and Jacob Ausban, Fitzhugh, Jacob and Brianna Priest, Cheyenne, Wyoming, Ada and Joshua Schwartz, Fort Collins, Colorado, Alyssa, Julianna, Ashleigh, Justus, Grace, John, Kora, Kathleen, Kara, Jaci, Jessa, Joshua, Joseph, Kaylynn, and Jasmine, all of Fitzhugh, Cody Priest and Tara, Ada, Keisha and Nico Lee, Ada and Colton and P. K. Priest, Anson, Texas, and Kirsten and Zac Fidler and Khloe Kimbrell of Ada; her great-grandchildren, Conner, Zac, Kaitlyn, Kymber, Alaythia, Aaron, Amos, Asher, Emry, Levi, Brynlee, and Atarah, Quaid and Creed Fidler, Bryer, Braxton and Breckyn Lee, and Camden, Rhett and Gunner Priest.
