Service held for Linda Ann Tripp

Linda Ann Tripp passed away in Holdenville, Oklahoma on Friday, January 4, 2019, at the age of 69 years.

Linda was the daughter of Wayne and Lizzy Beatrice (Heard) Bible, born on November 20, 1949, in Wewoka, Oklahoma. She was brought up in Sasakwa and attended schools at New Model and Wewoka. She worked many years for home health companies, and as a CNA for more than twenty years after receiving CNA certification from Wes Watkins Vo-Tech School. She was married to Vernon Tripp on May 14, 1991, and they made their home in Sasakwa.

Linda loved playing Bingo, traveling, and gardening, but her greatest love was her family; to her, family was everything. She was the Mainstay, she kept everyone informed of events and occasions, and loved having them all together. She was much loved and will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wayne & Lizzy Bible, and her infant son, Donnie Wayne House.

She is survived by her husband, Vernon Tripp, of the home; four sons: Kenny House of Spaulding, Larry House of Sasakwa, Russell House (Minnie) of Lavaca AR, and Wade House (Karen) of Sasakwa; 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronnie & Sharlene Bible of Pickett, and Gary & Shelly Bible of Sasakwa; nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Monday, January 7th , 10:30 a.m. at Fisher Funeral Home’s Lillye Chapel, and Linda was laid to rest at Yeager Cemetery. Rev. Earl Scroggins was the officiating minister. Pallbearers were Dustin House, Justin House, Floyd House, Nicholas House, Roy Heard, and Shane Heard. Honorary pallbearers were Ryan House and Zachary House.
