Service held for Margaret Anderson

Funeral services for Margaret Lou Anderson were held Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Weleetka Church of Christ in Weleetka, Oklahoma. Interment followed at the Wetumka City Cemetery.

Margaret Anderson was born February 9, 1947 in Casa Grande, Arizona to Arvel and Marie (Banta) Morgan.  She passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019 at her home in Wetumka at the age of 72.

Margaret was a longtime resident of the Wetumka area and a former award winning cosmetologist for over thirty years.  She and Lenzie Anderson were married May 19, 1984 in Wetumka.  Margaret was a member of the Weleetka Church of Christ and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Lenzie Anderson of the home; five sons, Tracy Yandell and wife Tammy of Dibble, Oklahoma, Bryan Yandell and wife Casey of Wetumka, Russell Anderson and wife Linda of Holden-ville, Oklahoma, Lawrence Anderson of Stonewall, Oklahoma and Adam Anderson and wife Corina of Indianapolis, Indiana; 20 grandchildren, Loren, Joey, Derek, Kayla, Brittany, Lenzie, Paedon, Kyler, Seth, Michael, James, Emily, Dalton, Emily, Adam, Taylor, Payton, Allyssa, Makaylie and Kenzie and 17 great-grandchildren.

Serving as active pallbearers were Derek Anderson, Seth Yandell, Matt Osborn, Kyler Yandell, Tony Ramaiz and Dalton Anderson.

Honorary bearers included: Joey Anderson, Michael Sharrock, James Sharrock, Billy Byrd, George Smith, Nathan Parker, Tom Peters, Johnny Anderson, Rick Thetford, Michael Sharrock and James Sharrock.

Services were under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home and officiated by Bro. Donnie Nero.
