Service Held for Regina Sue Hester

Regina Sue Hester, 74 of Holdenville, passed away June 6, 2023. She was born in Holdenville to Leroy Bible and Maxine (Wingo) Bible. Sue worked as an LPN for over 20 years in Hughes County. After retirement she spent her time gardening, watching sci-fi movies and reading. She loved sitting on her patio listening to the thunder and rain.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents Maxine and Leroy Bible; sister Karla Harden; brother Leroy Bible Junior; son-in-law Terry Steele; and nephew Jacob Baca.

She is survived by her husband, Benny Hester of the home; sister Tanda Baca; brother Rusty Bible; son Colonel Hester; daughter Amber Steele; grandchildren Anne Marie and Frankie Blake, Sebastian and Candace Hester, Colby and Bre Hester, Chris Hester, and Tanner, Savanna and Scarlett Steele; great-grandkids Trinity, Lillian, Olivia and Anna Hester. Sue is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews. She loved her family unconditionally.

Funeral service were 10:00 am, Friday, June 9th, at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Malcolm Harden conducting the service. Interment followed at Non Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jimmy Bible, Colby Hester, Sebastian Hester, Frankie Blake, Chris Hester and Tanner Steele. Honorary pallbearers were John Andrew Baca, Michael McDaniel, Kevin Moss and Grady Sheperd.

Services were under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
