Service May 16 for Paula Joyce Dyer Cecil

Paula Joyce (Timmons) Dyer Cecil of Tuttle, Oklahoma passed away on December 14, 2019 at the Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. A graveside service will be held at the Wetumka Cemetery on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 1:00 p.m to celebrate her life.

Mrs. Cecil was born on December 7, 1943 in Paris, Arkansas to Hunter Timmons and Allie Blackard Timmons. She married Arlus Ray Dyer on July 20, 1962 in Wetumka, Oklahoma. Together they had three children, Joyce Elaine, Vickie and Lisa.

Mrs. Cecil worked as a machine operator for Borden’s Ice Cream for 17 years and then she worked in Home Healthcare for 12 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents Hunter and Allie Timmons; spouse, Arlus Ray Dyer; brother, George Timmons; great-granddaughter, Caelynn Raynay Marsh and nephew, Kenneth Hill.

She is survived by her children: Joyce Elaine Barrett of Oklahoma City, OK, Vickie Dyer (Alan Becker) of Oklahoma City, OK, and Lisa (Jessie Hicks) of Tuttle, OK; siblings: Luann Hill of Wetumka, OK, Hunter Timmons (Katie) of Wetumka, OK, and Norma Nelson (Tom) of Checotah, OK; eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
