Mildred Marie Sexton a long time Holdenville resident passed away Monday, February 24, 2020 in Keller, Texas at the age of 92.

Mildred was born November 11, 1927 to Vivian Womac and Jessie Landers Womac. She graduated from Holdenville High School. She married James “Bo” Sexton March 1st 1947 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Mildred had retired from AT&T where she worked as a telephone operator. She enjoyed cooking, being involved with her church and spending time with family.

Mildred is preceded in death by her parents; husband Bo Sexton; and siblings J.C. Womac and Wavel Womac.

She is survived by her son Stephen James Sexton and wife Linda of Muskogee; daughter Rhonda Calene Whaley and husband Barry of Keller, Texas; son Timothy Don Sexton and wife Anita of Houston, Texas; siblings Faye Vannoy of Lafayette, Louisiana, and Betty Osburn of Wichita, Kansas. She is also survived by numerous other family and friends.

Viewing will be 10:00 am Saturday, February 29 th , at Faith Free Will Baptist Church in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday, February 29 th , at Faith Free Will Baptist Church in Holdenville, Oklahoma with Brother Earl Scroggins officiating. Interment will follow at Holdenville Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Jake Sexton, Craig Whaley, Chris Whaley, Barry Whaley, Harold Gordon and J.C. Kanard.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home Holdenville, Oklahoma.
