Service Saturday for Winston Hanks, Sr.

Winston Levert Hanks Sr. passed away Monday, November 18, 2019 at his home in Atwood, Oklahoma at the age of 68.

Winston as born July 26, 1951 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to William “Bill” Levert Hanks and Vera Juanita Young Hanks Bollinger.  He attended Calvin and Allen public schools and graduated.  Winston was self-employed TV repairman.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and could fix anything.  He loved his family and chicken fighting.

Winston is preceded in death by his parents; daughter Cambera Hanks and brothers Ronald Wayne Palmer, and Robert Bollinger, Jr.  

He is survived by his sons, Lonnie Crouch and wife Shereta of Tecumseh, Doug Crouch and wife Linda of Oklahoma City, Winston Hanks Jr. and wife Jessica of Holdenville, Zechariah Hanks of Atwood, and Cody Hanks Collins of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; daughter Serenity Conley Hanks and Mack Pierce of Holden-ville; 20 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother Victor Paul Palmer of Kingston; sisters, Linda Foster of Calvin, Alyene Hanks of Stonewall, and Jolene Holt of Allen, Texas, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, November 23rd , at the Nazarene Church in Holdenville with speaker Anthony Wood.

Honorary pallbearers are Paul Smith, Chuck Smith, Greg Foster, Frankie Foster, William Collins, the late Pete Stewart, the late Steve Morris, and Frank Foster.
