Service Thursday for Leroy Kramer

Leroy Ronald Kramer was born November 1, 1945 in Okemah, Oklahoma to Robert (Bob) Kenneth Kramer and Vivian Vanita (Day) Kramer and passed from this life April 6, 2020 in Henryetta, Oklahoma at the age of 74.

Mr. Kramer was raised in Weleetka and attended the local school. He was a 1964 graduate of Weleetka High School. Following graduation he began working for Cal White at his service station. He was married while still a young man and to this union three children were born.

Leroy later began a career with Frisco Railway, later known as Burlington Northern. He worked for them several years but had to retire early due to ill health some forty years ago. Following retirement he lived with his parents in Weleetka about 25 years then moved to Fountain View Nursing Home in Henryetta 15 years ago.

Leroy loved to fish and draw and is remembered as being a wonderful father.

He was preceded in death by his mother and a sister, Sue.

Survivors include: three children, Lori Rhinehart of Wetumka, Sharon Bycko and husband Witek of Edmond, and Leroy Kramer, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Wylie, TX; His father Bob Kramer of Henryetta; two brothers, Robert Richard Kramer and wife Sylvia and Glen Donald Kramer all of Henryetta; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Graveside rites will be held today, Thursday, April 9, 10 a.m. at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Weleetka with Rev. Don Williamson officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home of Weleetka and Wetumka.
