Service today for Bonnie Sue Shivers

Bonnie Sue “Susie” Shivers heard the voice of the Lord call and she went home to be with Him on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the age of 73 years.

Sue was the daughter of Wayne B. Murray and Gladys L. (Rogers) Murray, born on January 27, 1945, in Holdenville, Oklahoma, where she was brought up and attended schools. She was married to James Shivers and blessed with two children, James and Imogene. She loved singing, going to church, and she loved all children, especially her grandchildren. Sue lived her entire life in Holden-ville, and she had resided for the past seventeen years at Heritage Village Nursing Center.

She is preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Gladys & Jim Berry-man, and her father, Wayne Murray; her sister, Patsy Sinor; maternal grandparents Alf & Martha Rogers, and paternal grandparents Jack & Golda Murray.

She is survived by her son, James Shivers, and her daughter and son-in-law, Imogene & Cole Younger, all of Dustin; grandchildren... ; her brother and sister-in-law, Ron & Rita Marie Murray of Norman; her uncle, Dan Murray and wife Kathryn, of Sherman TX; numerous other relatives and friends.

Bonnie Sue was kind, loving, soft-spoken, had a smile for everyone she met and loved to sing hymns.  She is dearly missed by her loved ones, who celebrate the fact that she is in heaven with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Graveside services will be held today, Thursday, December 27, 2018, 11:30 a.m. at White Chimney Cemetery east of Stuart, Oklahoma, with Ron Hunter officiating.
