Service today for Lola Fern Keefer

Lola Fern Keefer passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Heritage Village Nursing Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 84.

Lola was born May 4, 1935 in Dustin, Oklahoma to Fred Padgett and Dulcie Dixon Padgett.  Lola attended Holden-ville Public Schools.  She married Jimmy Keefer May 10, 2005 in Holden-ville.  She was a Nurse’s Aide with Atoka Hospital.  Lola was a member of the Faith Free Will Baptist Church in Holdenville.  She enjoyed music, piano, singing, and going to church.  She loved spending time with her family, was very outgoing and loved to tell jokes and laugh.

Lola is preceded in death by her parents, first husband James Coker, siblings; four sisters, five brothers and one grandson.  She is survived by her husband Jimmy Keefer, son James Coker and wife Sandy of Edmond, daughter

Toni Pierce and husband Dave of Ardmore, son Steve Coker of Edmond, stepchildren; Gary Mc-Donald and wife Martha of Keifer, Oklahoma, Jimmy Keefer and wife Wendy of Seminole, nine grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 1:00PM Thursday January 30, 2020 at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Holdenville with Brother Earl Scroggins officiating.

Interment will follow at Holdenville Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home Holdenville, Oklahoma.
