Velma Louise George

Velma Louise George, a shining light and angel on this earth, passed away on December 23, 2023, at the age of 75. She was a selfless, god-fearing lady who touched the lives of many.

Born on February 21, 1948, Velma dedicated her life to being there for her loved ones, particularly for her children and grandchildren. Her unwavering love and support were a constant source of strength for those who knew her. She tirelessly raised her grandkids, always putting their needs before her own.

Velma's kind and compassionate nature extended beyond her immediate family. She was known for her generosity, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her strong faith served as a guiding light, providing comfort and solace in difficult times.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and selflessness. She will forever be remembered as a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Velma is preceded in death by her parents, David Earl George and Wanda (Martin) George. She is survived by her children Billy Jones, Christina Rhodes, Elizabeth Bridges, and Kira Kramer; grandchildren Hunter Bridges, Augustina Bridges, Jeremiah Smith, Madilen Bridges, Seph Humphreys, Kagin Humphreys, Onna Humphreys, Brelee Humpreys, Skye Jackson, Cailin Jackson, Bethany Rhodes, Grace Rhodes, and Kirsten Cullum. Velma is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
