Walter Arnold Graham

Walter Arnold Graham passed away at his home in Holdenville on Thursday, April 2, 2020, at the age of 73 years.

Walter was the son of Walter and Josephine Ida (McBroom) Graham, born on September 12, 1946, in Asher, Oklahoma, where he was brought up and attended schools. He was a graduate of Asher High School.

He was baptized as a young man by Pastor Arnold Murray, in a creek at Gravette, Arkansas. He worked for several years in the oil field and became a directional driller. He married Jan Box in Shawnee, Oklahoma on September 30, 1980. He retired twenty years ago, and he and Jan have made their home in Holdenville for the past fifteen years. He enjoyed buying old cars and doing tractor work on his own place and for others. His favorite thing was making homemade wine.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Graham and Josephine Ham; and one brother, Andrew Ham.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Jan, of the home; three daughters, Christie McLinn (John) of Rudy, Arkansas, Stephanie Feliciano of Holdenville, and Jennifer Keith of Natchez, Mississippi; two sons, Dewayne Filouridias (April) of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Manuel Martinez of Fort Smith, Arkansas; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Oakley of Vian; one brother, Dave Ham of DeQueen, Arkansas; nieces and nephews, other family members, and many friends.

Memorial services are planned for a later date.
