Bonnie Sue Johnson passed away Monday, December 26th, 2022 at Cornerstone Specialty Hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 71.

Bonnie was born January 12, 1951 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to William Powell and Roseanna (Kanard) Powell.

Bonnie attended Hartshorne Public School. Bonnie married Clarence Johnson in Holdenville on March 14, 1970. Bonnie was a Postal Clerk for the U.S. Postal Service. She loved making tribal dresses, OU sports fan, traveling, spending time with family and her grandchildren. Bonnie is preceded in death be her parents, siblings; Wilson Powell, Jimmy Powell, Sandy Powell and Lorene Baker. She is survived by her husband Clarence of the home, children; Stan Watie Johnson of Oklahoma City, Lisa K. Johnson of Shawnee, James Anthony Johnson and wife Noi of Norman, 3 grandchildren; Ava Hicks, Bailey Johnson, Skylar Johnson, and sibling J.C. Kanard of Wewoka. Bonnie is survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 28, 2022 and 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Hudson- Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Wake service will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 30, 2022 at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Frank Moppin offici ating.

Interment will follow at Marshall Cemetery at 48 Hwy & 127 Rd.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville.
