Willie Dan Harrison passed from this life Sunday, December 26, 2021, at his niece’s home in Longtown, Oklahoma east of Eufaula, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years.

Willie was born to Charlie Harrison, Sr. and Lillie (Walters) Harrison on February 12, 1955, at Wewoka, Oklahoma. He grew up in the Wewoka and Holdenville areas. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served during Vietnam. He worked in various occupations throughout his life but really enjoyed fishing, hunting and beadwork.

Although due to his health he spent some time in the nursing home, the past few days he got to spend time at his homeplace in the Longtown community.

Willie is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Lillie Harrison; his son, Charlie Harrison; his brother, Joe Harrison.

He is Survived by his daughter, Marsha Harrison (Richard Brown) of Tulsa; eight grandchildren, Desmond Harrison, Katelin Harrison, Samson Harrison, Caleb Harrison, Cory Harrison, Ciara Harrison, Courtney Harrison and Nathan Estep; four sisters, Irene Wilson, Johnnie Mae Atkins, Lizzie Harjo, and Lillie Mae Gillespie; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 2:00 pm at the Rock Springs Baptist Church west of Sasakwa, Oklahoma and he will be laid to rest in the Rock Spring Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Frank Moppin and Rev. Mike Deer officiating. Pallbearers are Brandon Michaelson, Doug Landers, Frank Yahola Jr., Alex Davis, Tyler Seamon, and Richard Brown. Honorary Pallbearers are Frank Walters, Lewis Walters, Leon McPerryman, Sandy Watson, Paul Pigeon, and Jason Neconish. A wake service will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at 6:00 pm at the Fisher Funeral Home Chapel.
