    The OHS Board of Directors recently elected its new officers—Dr. Deena Fisher of Woodward as president, Shirley Nero of Clearview as vice president, and Karen Keith of Tulsa as treasurer. This marks a historic moment for the OHS, as this is the first time that all three officers are women.

    Summit

    Summit is a town in Muskogee County, originally called South Muskogee when it was platted in 1910, had a post office as early as 1896. The town is located six miles southwest of the city of Muskogee along the Missouri, Kansas, and Texas Railway. The railroad provided a depot for the community.
