    I envy Kevin (not his real name). He thinks God lives under his bed. He was praying out loud in his dark bedroom one night and I stopped to listen, “Are you there, G o d ? ” he said. “Where are you? Oh, I see. Under the bed...” Kevin’s unique perspectives are often a source of amusement.

    The Flu “ain’t” finished with us yet. It’s usually winding down by March but not this year. About 36 million Americans have had experience with this flu so far. Not all came out OK on this in spite of a vaccine that helped a lot with this season’s bug.

    A first grade school teacher had 25 students in her class. She presented each child in her classroom the first half of a well-known proverb and asked them to come up with the remainder of the proverb.  It’s hard to believe these were actually done by first graders. Their insight may surprise you.

    Kim Jong-Un boarded his train for Hanoi Saturday with what seemed to be half of the city of Pyongyang going with him. Kim and President Trump are to have another big meeting this week and Kim likes his train.

    Around Town...... Starla Smith is my new favorite Catholic, but she has refrained from trying to lure me into joining her at St. Teresa’s.

    I would like to give thanks to the American Legion for their good deeds and acts of kindness. To Jeff Hinze and Earl Dunkleburger for seeing that I have a flag flying. Thanks to the Veterans who see that our flags are flying on special days. It makes me so proud to be living here.
