“Peanuts” is my all-time favorite comic strip. When our kids were growing up, almost every December we would watch “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” With that in mind, when I read the following, I not only was in total agreement, but it also sent me on a great trip down “memory lane.

I am convinced of a truth after living all these years on this earth. Simply and baldly stated, there are some people who have bathed themselves in misery for years. And they truly do not want anyone to hand them a big thick towel to dry off.

Football in Oklahoma I haven’t always understood the subtleties of football in Oklahoma but luckily my dad was a Sooner Fan. He had to explain to me while I was still young what a Sooner was and how we got that name but I’ll spare you all that.

As a life-long resident, business owner, and landowner in the target area, I am strongly against the turbine powered wind farms being solicited and built by foreign corporations in Hughes County for several reasons.

This may be the most frightening Halloween of all time. People across America are scared stiff as we are bombarded 24-hours a day with terrifying scenes splashed across television, our telephones and tablets.
