As the EF-3 tornado ripped through Hughes County, the evening of April 27, 2024, it unleashed its fury on everything in its path for 34 miles developing in Spaulding, traveling north-northeast hitting areas just west of Holdenville.

Members of the Holdenville Society of Painters and Sculptors volunteered many hours recent- ly to ensure that HSPS was full of original art and ready to share during the 2024 Spring Art Show.

Anneca pitched her first career no hitter in 5 innings after 8-0 win over UTSA. It was her first college no hitter for the season with 5 IP, 2 BB, and 6 K. A week earlier in a game against OU, Anneca struck out the #1 hitter in the league.

Blades was named for the second time "Teacher of the Year" at Glenpool Middle School. Blades teaches health and P.E. and is a high school and middle school track coach. In addition to all her activities, she has a school bus route delivering students to and from school safely.
