    Traci Manuel, Oklahoma's 2023 Teacher of the Year, heard about the Oklahoma African American Educators Hall of Fame, Inc. located in Clearview, Oklahoma and that Clearview was one of the original all-Black towns of Oklahoma and that she wanted to visit.

    6th GRADERS HOST READING FAIR The students displayed their fair boards  during the recent parent teacher con- ferences, which were held on October  10th.  The  project  focused  on  literary  elements  of  fictional  writing.  Mrs.  Wil liams applauded the efforts of all her hardworking 6th graders.

    Wetumka Christmas Tree Lighting Contest Underway!

    The Wetumka Chamber will be holding their annual Christmas Lighting contest. There is only one category this year. 1st place winner will receive $100.00 and a keepsake ornament. 2nd place winner will receive $50.00 and a keepsake ornament.
