It all started when Dollie Golden married Caleb Sims on March 20, 1921. Caleb promised Dollie’s mother Dollie Golden that he would bring his new bride back to visit her every year on her birthdate of September 1st. He kept his promise.

The largest family group present is from the A. T. Golden family.
