The Texas Banner Church of God will celebrate their 100th anniversary Sunday September 18. Sunday School will start at 9:45 and the special service will begin at 10:30. Everyone is invited. Rev. Jim Lunsford is pastor of the church.The following information was published in 2005.

Jerry Dilday participated in the Circle Back program at Wetumka Elementary Schools by teaching Flag Etiquette to the students. These sixth grade students were taught how to properly raise and lower the flag as well as how to fold it. More photos inside.

I asked my dad one day, “Does Grandpa Bullard know how to drive?” He answered, “Oh I guess he could drive a little if he had to, but he has always been very careful with his money and if he had a car, he wouldn’t want to buy gas for it.” That was beyond my comprehension.
