The Wetumka Legends 8U Baseball team are pictured above with their winning trophy. They finished 1st in south district and are Tri County Runner Up and Regional Qualifiers. The team has an amazing 15-2 record.

ADA – East Central University is recognizing students for their outstanding academic work during the Spring 2022 semester by naming them to the President’s Honor Roll.The President’s Honor Roll is reserved for students who earn A’s in all of their courses for a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Early Voting begins Thursday

The Oklahoma Historical Society hosted the the Juneteenth Celebration with “Music Through the Ages” at the Oklahoma History Center in Oklahoma City on Thursday, June 16, 2022. Dr. Donnie L. Nero Sr. served as emcee. Sentor George Young served as keynote speaker.

Tulsa Rudisill Regional Library sponsored the 23 rd Annual Historic All-Black Town Tour Commemorating Juneteenth on Saturday, June 11, 2022. Two busloads of tourist visited the historically all-Black towns of Redbird and Tullahassee in Wagoner county.

The citizens of the Town of Clearview celebrated Juneteenth as citizens in the early days of Clearview with food, games, and the reason they celebrate Juneteenth. The group gathered at the Main Street Community Center at 6:30 p.m.
