Mike Schmitt is not only my friend but is an amazing gentleman to visit with. His life in professional hockey is a fascinating story. Today we will begin sharing some of that story, which is found in his soon to be published book, A Dream Come True.

The Wetumka Class of 1962 will be holding their 60 th class reunion on Saturday, July 16, 2022 in the fellowship hall at the Methodist Church in Wetumka. The doors will open at 10:00 a.m. and coffee and donuts will be served. The United Methodist Women will serve lunch.

The town of Clearview enjoyed a gathering of town’s people to play games of dominos and chicken foot at the Main Street Community Center. This may become a monthly gathering. Happy belated to Gale Lucas Parker and Terri Toles. They enjoyed an evening at Wanda’s Uptown Café on Main Street.
