MUSKOGEE, Okla. — A federal jury found a Weleetka man guilty of a murder that occurred in Okfuskee County in June 2024.

The Weleetka Public Works Authority Board of Trustees and the Weleetka City Council held their regular meetings Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the Senior Citizen’s Building.Both meetings moved quickly, with trustees addressing financial matters, department reports, and routine approvals.

On October 14, voters on the Wetumka School District will decide on two bond proposals, one for much needed equipment upgrades and another for much needed transportation.
