    Barrett Family host reunion and gathering

    Tab and Joyce Barrett hosted a family gathering for the Lucas family and the surrounding community at their home. In addition, they hosted the event of the Sportsman’s Club 2025 honoring individual athletic boys or girls who have made a difference in the state of Oklahoma.

    Brenda Loggings is seeking land in Clearview to make her new home. Anyone wishing to sell her land, please contact the mayor of Clearview. Alvin Lucas is now home from the hospital, released to hospice. The family is asking for prayers on his behalf.

    The old school bell is home again. Late this afternoon, an anonymous couple recovered and dropped the bell off at the mayor’s home. There it was, we were so happy to see it. There was an anonymous reward offered but we did not have the money to pay for the return.

    Back Porch Memories

    Well, here I sit on the back porch, watching the breeze rustle the leaves on a forest of tall trees surrounding three sides of our home in North Carolina. Watching the grass grow taller by the day and wondering if the mower will make it another year without breaking down.
