Over 80 years ago a large group of Calvin residents gathered in front of the J.W. Hundley Company for one of their famous drawings. A picture was taken of the crowd and it is now on display. The 4th of July a large crowd gathered in the same location to have a similar picture taken.

A single vehicle accident Sunday evening resulted in one passenger, Hunter Morrison, 19, Holdenville, being transported to the OU Medical center by Medical Flight with multiple injuries, according to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Morrison was listed in stable condition in the report.
