Five of the Red Hatters entered the Rudy Alan’s Restaurant on March 14 for a St. Patrick’s Day event. Cindy McDaniel had the table all decorated with lots of green garland and various table decorations including a “Pot of Gold”.

Oklahoma State Election Board Secretary Paul Ziriax declared an election emergency today for local elections being held in 74 counties on April 7, 2020.

The Hughes County Courthouse housing the County Election Board will close to the public effective 18 th of March 2020 until further notice, after County Commissioner held an emergency meeting Wednesday and voted to close the Hughes County Courthouse to the public in a 3 vote.
