We had six Moon players Monday night at the Nazarene Fellowship Hall. They were Barbara Tiger, Cindy McDaniel, Arjean Williams, Selma Fitzhugh, Sharon Dilday and Joyce Brinlee. Partners; Barbara and Cindy won 5 games. Cindy Shot the Moon and made it! Awesome! Barbara shot the Moon and made it!

On March 6, The Journal Record recognized J.R. Polzien, Wes Watkins Technology Center’s Practical Nursing and Post-Secondary Health Coordinator, as a recipient of the “Health Care Heroes” award. J.R. was 1 of 44 healthcare professionals honored at the event.

Tuesday, February 25th there was a CPR training session held for Graham-Dustin seniors. Chris Miller of the Hughes County EMS was the instructor. This certification is a requirement for graduation.

SEVEN GRAHAM-DUSTIN STUDENTS ATTENDED THE OSSAA MUSIC COMPETITION February 19th on the campus of ECU in Ada. They are: Nyah Heneha, Gaylen Davis and Madysen Newsom. Back row: Hailey Ward, Alex Proctor, Claudia Ward and Kyla Sebree. Gaylen Davis received a superior rating at the competition.

Dustin Activities Committee is busy preparing for the spring events. They will be hosting a community Easter Egg hunt on Saturday April 4 th at 11:00 a.m. located at Dustin elementary playground. They are raffling a beautiful homemade toddler rocking horse at the Easter Egg hunt.

Each year the Oklahoma Bar Association sponsors art and writing contests for students across the state to promote current issues. The theme for this year’s contest was “The 19th Amendment” in honor of its historic 100th anniversary.
