The Dustin Activities Committee has set up a Food Pantry Box located by the Pocket Park across from City Hall. Non-perishable items are being placed in it, free for the taking. This is our way of giving back to the community, so please take advantage of it!

Saturday, July 20, 2019, during the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association general business meeting, Mike Weeks, Stuart, Okla. was elected President. Weeks will serve a two-year term as OCA President. Weeks runs a cattle operation in Southeast Oklahoma in partnership with his brother.

In the latest report from the Oklahoma Tax Commission WETUMKA received $45,097.75 compared to $38,679.63 last month, an increase of $6,418.12. Last year at this time Wetumka received $48,274.36. ATWOOD’S July tax return was $952.62. This was a gain of $345.83 compared to the $606.

The ancestors of the Drake family arrived in Creek Nation, Indian Territory in the early 1900s from Mississippi to make their home in Clearview.

Happy 46th Anniversary to Teddy and Marilyn Jackson on August 4th of Clearview. Teddy is retired from Kelco of Okmulgee and Marilyn is retired from Okmulgee Public and is currently serving as mayor/trustee of Town of Clearview. They are the parents of Teddy John, Amber, and Gresha Roi.
