Jada Ann Blades celebrated her 8th birthday on August 2nd. She celebrated at the swim park and Ken’s Pizza in Sapulpa with a decorated cake in the theme of Mermaids.

Marguerite French  to Celebrate 103rd Birthday

Marguerite French, born August 18, 1916 will soon celebrate her 103rd birthday. She has lived her entire life in Clearview, raised her family here, and is a living history of the Town of Clearview.

Makai Lee Blades – Tulsa World Sports 

Makai Blades, a senior at Glenpool High School and football and track athletic, is a candidate is among the top five of the All-World Preseason Football Contest. He was chosen from a list of top ten earlier in the category of running backs in football.

Eugene Golden to celebrate birthday

Also celebrating a birthday in Eugene Golden, first cousin to Marguerite, who will be 94 on August 16th. He was born in Clearview, Oklahoma and has lived in the area most of his life as a farmer and rancher. He is the father of 14 children and the son of the late A. T. and Julia Golden of Clearview.

Holdenville Game Night News

We had 8 “Moon” fun-loving domino ladies at the Nazarene Fellowship Hall Monday night! Partners at table #1 were Sharon Dilday and Cindy McDaniel and Selma Fitzhugh and Mary Wagner.  Selma shot the moon and made it!  Good for you!  Even though they played hard, it was the only game they won!

THE NEW CHIEF OF POLICE IN CALVIN IS JOE CHITWOOD, WHO IS WELL KNOWN IN OUR COUNTY. HE WILL BEGIN HIS DUTIES ON AUGUST 15 AS CHIEF AND STATE CERTIFIED NARCOTICS K9 HANDLER AND TRACKER.
