The Fairview grads had a great time at their annual reunion held this past month.

Ann Trivitt was born July 31, 1932 in Seminole, Oklahoma, the daughter of Eual Leonard and Inez Wilkie (Pinkerton) Trimm. She and Charles Floyd Trivitt were on February , 1950 in McAlester, Oklahoma.

Funeral services for Connie Joe Gryder were held Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Assembly of God Church in Wetumka, Oklahoma.  Interment followed at the Wright Family Cemetery.

Take the Old Town Road to Clearview on August 3rd and 4th , 2019 because the Golden Pony Casino will present the 39th Annual Clearview Open Rodeo at the Clear-view Memorial Arena in Clearview, Oklahoma. All factors indicate that this will be one of the biggest and best rodeos ever.

 Darlene (McGirt) Morgan was born on July 21, 1944 in Wetumka, Oklahoma to Isaac Mc-Girt and Hepsey (Marshall) McGirt, and passed from this life on July 22, 2019 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Darlene was raised in Wetumka and made the town her life-long home.

Dale Barton passed away in Oklahoma City on Thursday, July 4, 2019, at the age of 91 years.   Dale was the son of Roy and Irene (Nash) Barton, born on December 22, 1927 in Lamar, Oklahoma, where he was brought up and attended schools. He served in the U.S. Army in Japan at the end of World War II.

The OHCE Black Heritage Committee met in Boley, Oklahoma for their quarterly meeting on July 20, 2019 at McCormick’s Grill in Boley, Oklahoma at 11:00 a.m. Committee members present were Harold Aldridge, Jr.

The OHCE Clearview Brown Suggas participated in the Okmulgee Leg of the three-county tour (Okfuskee, Okmulgee, and Lincoln) on Tuesday, July 23, 2019. The tour began at the Okmulgee Fairgrounds on North Oklahoma in Okmulgee.

The Red Hat Ladies enjoyed a yummy lunch today at the Boom-a-Rang in Holdenville while having their meeting. It is great place to meet as they have a private room so that we can make all the noise we want without disturbing anyone else.  The service was great too!
