Descendants of Ballard family met in Clearview, Oklahoma at the Main Street Community Building for their first Ballard family reunion. Some of the family met for the first time.

Benjamin Taylor, born on July 3, 1905, in Tahlequah, died in Tulsa on April 20, 1996. He graduated from the Okmulgee High School and attended Central College in Fayette, Missouri, and the University of Oklahoma. In 1928 he married Theone (Toni) Grove.
