    The Shannon family convened on June 29th in Clearview for their annual family reunion. They intend to hold this event annually in the same location. Prayers are requested for Alvin Lucas, who is currently hospitalized in Tulsa. His cancer has spread.

    GRAHAM ALL SCHOOL REUNION ALUMNI BANQUET WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!

    Thirty six graduates and their families were present along with 5 former teachers. The oldest graduate present was Lewis Walters from the Class of 1954, the youngest was Tara Robinson Baker from the Class of 1991 and Linda Bailey Vires traveled the most distance.

    The Lawrence and Marguerite French Family Reunion

    On June 29, 2025, the French families gathered at Clearview’s Old School Gym for another year of fun, games, and food. Lawrence and Marguerite had eighteen children, including three sets of twins. Although the parents have passed, the children continue the reunion tradition.

    Aunt Sophia was a great storyteller with a knack for tugging at hearts and tickling funny bones when she had a captive audience of one or more. Her listeners would be transported to another time, enchanted, forgetting about their heartache or woes.

    911 Contract Finalized and Agreed to at Wetumka Special Meeting

    A regular scheduled meeting of the Wetum ka City Council will be held at 6:30pm, Friday, June 20, 2025. The following items are scheduled for consideration and possible action by the City Council at the time.Mayor Norma Marshall called the meeting to order at 6:30pm.

    An anonymous donor, donated money to build a firecracker stand in Wetumka to help with the fireworks show. The detailed of reason of the investment is the people of Wetumka have always supported the community events; but people have started to notice the loss of 4th of July events in town.
