I used to enjoy (to a lesser extent) reading George Will. Will, a very verbose speaker and writer of our times, is sometimes a hard read, at least for me. His uncommon use of words and verbiage to make a point or two sometimes leaves me not just puzzled but amazed.

May 27, 2019, Santori Dean participated in Goat Field Day at Langston University. Students demonstrated how to shear goats and trim their hoofs. They also demonstrated how to administer medicines and conduct basic health inspections. A few hundred students participated in the demonstrations.

In Guthrie, Oklahoma on Tuesday, May 4 Eugene Golden was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Eugene played with the Negro American League’s Cleveland Buckeyes in Kansas City and played with the same baseball league as Jackie Robinson and Satchel Paige.

U. S. Senator James Lank-ford and wife Cindy visited in the Town of Clearview on Thursday, May 30 at the request of the Clearview Town Trustees. Senator Lankford visit toured the Town Hall and the Oklahoma African American Educators Hall of Fame, Inc. and met with the town’s people and guests.
